Talk 99

The aim of Talk99 has always been to show our young people that the Bible is as relevant today as it was the day it was written, that being part of a Bible Study Group does not have to be boring, and that being a Christian is nothing to be ashamed of. Also our aim is to introduce young people into the main stream Church services when they are ready.

We have seen an increase in the number of young people we are coming into contact with and have approximately 15-20 young people attending on a Sunday. Some have begun to show signs of having leadership qualities and play an active part within the youth activities of the church.

YoYo’s and Spinners

We meet every Sunday at 10.30am and have on average 20 children split into two groups. Children aged between 4 to 8 attend YOYO's ("You're Only Young Once") and 9 to 11 year olds for attend Spinners.

Our programme is varied and fun, not only for the children but for those that lead the sessions. Our aim is to learn from the Scriptures and grow in knowledge in a fun and safe environment. All our teachers and helpers are dedicated to helping our kids to grow and learn together.

Holiday Club

Holiday Clubs are normally run during the school holidays, sometimes for the odd day or two, and sometimes for the entire week. Every morning we learn about characters and events from the Bible in a fun, simple and lively way.

They are generally based on a theme and the children are encouraged to join in as much as they can. We enjoy games, songs, video clips, quizzes, arts and crafts and outdoor games. At the end of Holiday Club week we take part in a special Sunday service so that parents can see everything that has been going on during the week!
