As a church we are concerned about the welfare of everyone and for us this is more than just their spiritual welfare, important as that is. So as a church we are committed to doing

Although all the people in Wood Lane Baptist Church have the privilege and responsibility to look out for and care for one-another, the Pastoral Team are recognised as having a more generous helping of this gift. They give pastoral care to those within the church who may have special needs, as well as to those who are not part of the church.

The primary role of the Pastoral Care Team is to supplement the ongoing care and support within the church. They co-ordinate the regular visiting especially for our older folk or those in hospital or for people with other needs. Strict confidentiality is maintained throughout the Pastoral Care Team with further discussion only by agreement and on a ‘need to know’ basis.
