House Groups
House Groups focus on 4 core values:
Spiritual Growth - growing in your faith through studying God's Word and applying it.
Fellowship - building authentic and united relationships in the Body.
Caring - reaching out to group members in times of need.
Outreach - reaching un-churched friends, neighbours, and people at work.
House Groups are one of the most important ways of deepening relationships and providing a place for this kind of mutual care and encouragement.
A House group usually has 6 - 10 people, who meet together once a week in someone's home for Bible Study, prayer and discussion. Every group is different, but the aim is always to encourage and support one another, and to develop fellowship within the church.
Typically a group will start with a Bible study or a discussion topic lasting about an hour. This will then be followed by a time of prayer (for each other, the work of the church and any major issues).
Finally there will be coffee and biscuits and a chance to catch up on news.
There are currently two groups that meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings. If you would like more information either telephone the church office on 0208 592 4908 or email us at info@woodlane.co.uk
